This is the first major harvest of the season. Although not the lawn and manicured flower garden most picture of a residential landscape, planting vegetables in the front yard has allowed me to harvest loads of fresh tomatoes and peppers by simply taking a few steps out the front door. This garden is just one example of what can be done with a relatively small outdoor space. With some creativity and perseverance, practically any spot outside can yield healthy and delicious fruits and vegetables year after year!
