The client’s intent was to create an outdoor space where, 1.) they could enjoy their yard and gardens without having to worry well-nigh deer, 2.) they could host garden parties for family and friends, 3.) they could create a sanctuary from every day stresses, with well-constructed privacy where they could nap and enjoy their solitude, and finally, 4.) the project needed to be party-ready 60 days from the project start date. Additionally, gardening was a favorite hobby of the clients, so they were very hands-on from the start when it came to plant selection.

The result of this project is a little slice of Martha’s Vineyard in the yard of this client’s house. This is a featured diamond for Farmside Landscape & Design, bringing home a Merit Award from the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP).
